Norman Mardi Gras Parade

Norman’s first night parade began as a celebration of Art & Community in 1994. Drawing crowds of up to 6,000, depending on weather, the parade begins at dark (7 pm) with an awards ceremony immediately following at The Depot. The parade and awards ceremony are free to watch and family-friendly.

We’ve paraded down Main Street for over 30 years and survived a pandemic. Last year, the diehards responsible renamed ourselves the Norman Mardi Gras Society. We’ll continue to put on the parade each year and hope to add more community outreach with presentations, workshops and classes.

Our 2025 theme is"Pollinator Palooza"

Want to join the fun? Get together some friends, form a Krewe, and come out to play!
